Carl Phillips - CEO
Carl has recently been employed with 370° group as CEO. Carl is responsible for driving a team of leaders to deliver quality apprentices and trainees to businesses and at the same time position NECA Apprenticeships and the NECA Skills Centre as market leaders in Electrotechnology Education and Training. Other initiatives include executing the Strategic Plan; Stabilising the business during the leadership change; and preparing the business for future growth by providing high quality services to the industry as a whole.
Having 20 years experience within senior leadership roles across national and multinational organisations, Carl is well versed in executing tactical plans to improve business and people, with safety at the forefront to benefit our organisation, its stakeholders and customers.

Theo Christoforou - Finance Manager
Theo Christoforou commenced work with 370° group in April 2000. Theo's role as Finance Manager is to ensure the organisation is financially sound in order to continue future growth. Tasked with managing the payroll function, Theo is responsible for overseeing the administration of payroll services (including work cover and superannuation) for over 600 apprentices and trainees in Victoria and Tasmania.
Theo has held long standing financial positions with Red Tulip (11 years) and Glen Ross Stainless Steel (12 years) and completed a Diploma of Accountancy. |

Martyn Hayes - Director of Learning
as director of learning, martyn is responsible for developing and managing neca skills centre operations to ensure the efficient and effective provision of programs and services to students and industry clients.
joining 370° group in august 2012, martyn has a trade background in aircraft maintenance engineering and tertiary qualifications in training and development and has over 30+ years experience in the aviation industry.
his experience encompasses quality, business development, project management, recruitment and customer service activities within the aircraft manufacturing, flight training operations and third party rpt base maintenance sectors.
with 20+ years experience in the management of vocational and tertiary education and training within the industry, martyn has extensive experience in the development and implementation of national competency based training packages for the australian aerospace industry. his experience in this area will be of benefit to neca skills centre as the electrotechnology industry starts to move towards competency based training.

Gary Vidler - Operations Manager (tastec group training)
Gary has been with tastec group training for over 8 years starting in early 2004. Gary's responsibilities as Operations Manager include overseeing the entire group training operations in the Tasmanian division. Managing a team of staff along with a case load of trainees and apprentices, Gary is in charge of delivering quality skilled trainees and apprentices to businesses.
Gary has been involved in group employment for 13 years, with over 15 years in Human Resources and OH&S, was a mature aged apprentice under group employment, spent many years in the heavy industrial and building related industries and is a Board Director and Board Member on 2 community based organisations. He holds a Diploma in Human Resources, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. |

Stephen McKay - Leader NECA Apprenticeships
stephen qualified as an electrician way back in 1981 after completing a five year apprenticeship. since completion, stephen’s experience has been growing from strength to strength. having worked as a leading hand and shop steward on a number of projects, he spent seven and a half years with an employee organisation.
as a field officer stephen is given the opportunity to help, guide and assist the apprentices throughout their apprenticeship and hopefully see them obtain their a grade. he says that it’s also good to see the friendships that are build from the beginning (inductions) and the satisfaction you get when signing off that final visit sheet which is second to none.

Robyn Donaldson - Group Operations Consultant
Robyn has been with the 370° group for 11 months and is responsible for implementing and monitoring Quality Assurance procedures across the business.
Robyn has an extensive quality management background which commenced with a paint manufacturer implementing a QA system from scratch. As a result, this organisation became the first Australian supplier of raw materials to achieve an A+ rating for quality by General Motors Holden.
With 11 years experience at Chisholm Institute of Tafe overseeing QA for 3 of those years along with coordinating the Study Skills Department, Robyn was also an Internal Auditor for the organisation. Whilst at Chisholm Institute of Tafe, Robyn obtained her Lead Auditor Qualification, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma in Vocational Education and Training, Diploma in Training and Assessment and a Graduate Certificate in Business Quality Management.
Robyn brings the desire and drive to not only meet 370° group QA requirements, but to exceed them. She would like to remove the fear surrounding audits and instil a QA culture with all staff across the organisation. |

Sarah Bennetts - Executive Assistant
Sarah commenced with 370° group in January 2005 as Administration Supervisor. In June 2006 she became the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Sarah is responsible for the smooth running of the CEO’s day to day activities.
She heads up the administration team ensuring they provide excellent customer service to our staff, students, stakeholders, clients and customers.
Sarah has worked as an Executive Assistant for 20 years for various organisations and holds a Diploma in Business Administration. |

Evan Henry - Leader 370° traineeships
evan commenced his career as an administration trainee with the grand hyatt melbourne – human resources department. after three years he then joined the group training industry as a recruitment consultant where he was responsible for placing individuals into traineeships and apprenticeships. he has a certificate iii in business administration (completed through a traineeship), diploma of human resources and is currently studying a joint degree in arts and education.
evan meets and works with so many diverse individuals, many of whom are undertaking the first step into their chosen career path. being able to play an important part in their development and seeing them grow as professionals and as a person is very rewarding for him.

Celeste Johnson - People Services Consultant
as peoples services consultant, celeste partners with all members of the organisation consult, plan, and direct people resources, to maximize its strategic use. celeste also works in conjunction with john taufer to ensure all employees are safe and get the best treatment when injured. since joining the organisation in 2004 as a uni graduate, celeste has had the privilege of undertaking the accounts payable role, payroll officer, human resources officer and return to coordinator.
celeste holds an advanced diploma in accounting, a degree in human resources and most recently a diploma in oh&s.

John Taufer - OH&S Consultant
As OHS consultant, John Taufer is responsible for ensuring the safety of 370° group employees, apprentices and trainees across both Victoria and Tasmania.
John has had extensive experience in the electrical industry working as an A grade electrician, then as a field officer for another group training company before joining 370° group seven years ago.
John is passionate about creating a safe work culture for employees that will stay with them for the rest of their careers.
